Community Braiding and Rug Hooking
As part of The Water We Wear project, this interactive installation invites you to either braid thrifted fabric or sit down, learn how to rug hook, and contribute to a growing community piece using discarded textiles. No experience needed — stay for a few minutes or as long as you like.

Participate in my project “The Water We Wear”, a contemporary textile art project that symbolically slows down the cycle of fast fashion through time, care, and labor.
Choose one or two items of clothing from your wardrobe that you no longer need and join me to incorporate them into the work by rug hooking. No skills required!
